Jesse Johannesen was born and raised in suburban New York City and has been a fan of the Amazin’, but mostly bad, New York Mets since the age of 3. In fact, he once dreamed of calling the press box at Shea Stadium his office. However, after two years of bus rides in the middle of the night and an enlightening conversation with Tim McCarver, he said no to that notion in the autumn of 1996. Since that time he has been loved by a woman who he deeply loves back; and he has been mentored professionally by men whom he respects greatly.

This website is an attempt to combine the passions of his prior life by trying to rediscover the links between baseball and the American society. Can a former RG (Radio Guy) turned VC/investment banker find this missing link?
